Disc Herniation

The more you participate in your care, the better your results will be. Your spine loves motion.

Keep moving

"Resting more than 24 hours is detrimental to your recovery."

Gentle, regular movement helps a herniated disc recover. Adding the exercises below every day can shorten your recovery time and help prevent future injury.

Before you start: do these exercises as Dr. Taylor showed you. Move slowly and stay in a comfortable range. If pain gets sharper, spreads down an arm or leg, or you feel numbness or tingling, stop and call or text us at (817) 408-5353.
